Nine concludes Tennis Australia renewal in deal worth more than A$425m

Tennis Australia has struck a new five-year deal with domestic broadcaster Nine Entertainment, with the agreement providing continued coverage of the Australian Open grand slam tournament on free-to-air television until 2029.

The governing body confirmed that the new deal, which runs from 2025 to 2029, includes a cash component of A$425m (€276m/$283m) plus “considerable” additional value in contra (advertising rights), retained rights and promotion.
