Uefa, European football’s governing body, has confirmed public-service broadcaster NOS and pay-television broadcaster Sport1 have agreed deals for the Dutch broadcast rights to the European qualifying matches for the Euro 2016 and 2018 Fifa World Cup national team competitions.
NOS will broadcast live all matches involving the Dutch national team during its qualification campaigns for the Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup. NOS will also broadcast a highlights programme on each European qualifiers matchday.
In addition, Sport1 will broadcast live a selection of other matches played across the European qualifiers matchweeks. Sport1 will also show a daily highlights programme of each Euro qualifiers matchday.
All matches will also be available via NOS's and Sport1's internet and mobile platforms, keeping in line with Uefa’s platform neutral approach to media rights sales.
NOS and Sport1 agreed the deals with the CAA Eleven agency, which sold the rights on behalf of Uefa.
