Dutch public-service broadcaster NOS has extended its rights deal for the Tour of Flanders, one of the five ‘monument’ events of cycling.
The agreement covers the next four editions of the Tour of Flanders, spanning 2017 to 2020, with this year’s event taking place on Sunday.
The Belgian event is classed as one of the five monuments of cycling, along with Milan-San Remo, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Giro di Lombardia.
NOS also holds rights to Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. It also holds contracts for Grand Tours the Tour de France, until 2019, and Vuelta a Espana, until 2020.
