NOS to cover Women’s Euro 2017 in host nation

Dutch public-service broadcaster NOS has acquired rights to the Uefa Women’s Euro 2017 national team football tournament, which will take place in the Netherlands next year.

Under the deal, NOS will broadcast live all games featuring the Dutch national team, along with the tournament’s opening match and final.

All 31 games will be provided via NOS.nl and the NPO Sport channel. The deal reinforces the commitment of NOS to women’s football with the broadcaster having previously covered Euro 2013 and the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup.

Euro 2017 will take place from July 16 to August 6 next year, with Utrecht set to host the opening game.
