OneFootball, the football-focused streaming and media platform, has closed a $300m (€285m) Series D funding round led by the New York-based Liberty City Ventures and has also created a blockchain technology joint venture.
The funding round will accelerate OneFootball’s investments in Web3, drive platform and user growth, fund further product development and support an expansion of the OTT streaming portfolio, according to the Germany-based company that last year offered more than 15,000 live streams and on-demand content clips.
