The reach of beIN Media Group’s pay-television channel beIN Sports has been further enhanced in Spain through a carriage agreement with telecommunications company Orange.
Under the deal brokered by the Mediapro agency, beIN Sports will be available to subscribers of Orange TV. BeIN Sports launched in Spain on August 1, with the channel, which is already available through Vodafone TV, being distributed by Mediapro to pay-television operators.
Orange TV customers will now have access to football content including the Uefa Champions League and Europa League, English Premier League, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1.
BeIN Sports will also be available online through beinsportsconnect.es and for mobile devices via a TV-everywhere app.
Mediapro said it is continuing negotiations with other Spanish pay-television operators.
