Pac-12 Networks, the content and multi-platform media company for the Pac-12 US college sports conference, has secured a partnership with Sling TV, the over-the-top subsidiary of national pay-television provider Dish.
Sling TV will now stream all six of Pac-12 Networks’ regional feeds to Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers who subscribe to the ‘Sports Extra’ add-on pack as six separate channels.
Sling TV becomes the first OTT partner of Pac-12 Networks.
The regional services, which collectively offer live coverage of over 800 sporting events, comprise feeds in Arizona, Bay Arena, Los Angeles, Mountain, Oregon and Washington.
The ‘Sling Orange Sports Extra’ package includes all six networks at a cost of $5 (€4.45) for Sling Orange customers. New Sling Blue customers can sign up for the six networks for $10 per month through the ‘Sling Blue Sports Extra’ package, while existing customers can gain access for $5 per month.
