Golf’s PGA Tour has extended a rights deal with pay-television broadcaster ESPN International in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The agreement will run for five years, from 2015 to 2019.
ESPN International will show up to 12 PGA Tour tournaments every year, including the annual Players Championship and the Presidents Cup in 2015 and 2017.
ESPN will also show support programming such as the Inside The PGA Tour magazine show.
Coverage will be shown on ESPN’s television, broadband and mobile applications.
ESPN will also have rights to distribute additional PGA Tour content from selected tournaments across its digital platforms, including coverage from up to four competition holes as well as featured groups of golfers.
