Polish pay-television operator Polsat has applied for national broadcasting licences for two new sports channels.
Polsat Sport 2 and Polsat Sport 3 would be two of five new channels to be launched.
The other channels – Polsat Docu, Polsat Reality and Polsat X – would provide a range of entertainment programming.
The broadcaster hopes to receive licences for the new pay-television channels this autumn.
