Premier League strengthens ownership rules, Netflix plans scrapped

English Premier League football clubs have approved a number of changes to the league’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test (OADT), including a new disqualifying event for human rights abuses, while plans for a Netflix documentary on the competition have been scrapped.

Clubs approved the changes during a shareholders’ meeting held yesterday (Thursday) following a comprehensive review of the OADT and consultation between clubs.
