The Professional Squash Association has agreed a three-year production deal with UK company Moov for its top-tier World Tour events.
Moov is a specialist in broadcast graphics but moves into outside broadcasting with the PSA tie-up, which runs from 2015 to 2017.
The first event that the two parties worked together on was this month’s Tournament of Champions at Grand Central Terminal, New York City.
Moov has partnered with the Timeline TV company to design, build and operate its flyaway kit for the duration of the deal.
Nev Appleton, director of Moov, said: “Moov has 15 years’ experience working in live sport productions, which has given us the invaluable insight that has allowed us to expand in to the production services sector. Winning the PSA contract demonstrates that we are a diverse and expanding business. Initially we will focus on similar-sized projects that require a streamlined, economical but high-quality production, but as we expand our experience and resources we will also look at bigger projects.”
The early rounds of the PSA World Tour will be streamed on the governing body's official site and betting websites, while 16 international broadcasters will take Moov’s live feed from the semi-final and final stages.
