Italian state broadcaster Rai has added to its rights package for Serie B, the second tier of football in the country.
Rai has secured highlights rights to the league across the three seasons spanning 2018-19 to 2020-21.
Rai last week acquired free-to-air rights for live coverage of a match every Friday night over the same three-season window.
The Lega B said the new agreement represents a “significant increase” in revenue when compared to the previous rights window. It added that it will now seek to market international rights to Serie B.
