Spanish LaLiga football club Real Madrid has agreed a deal with Korean consumer electronics company Samsung to offer exclusive video content through social media platform Twitter.
Under the one-year agreement, Samsung, an existing regional sponsor of Real, will sponsor the content provided through the club’s official account @realmadrid.
The Marketing4Ecommerce website said the content will include player interviews, access to the dressing room after matches, the press conferences of coach Zinedine Zidane, classic goals and highlights from Real training sessions.
Real said in a statement: “This is an important step so that with the participation of Samsung we can get quality content through what is undoubtedly the platform of reference for live events. In this way we will continue to build a closer relationship with our fans."
