The Reddentes Sports agency has sublicensed from Malaysian pay-television broadcaster Astro the media rights outside Malaysia for the 2019 Sepak Takraw League Champions Cup and the inaugural 2020 Asia Challenge Cup football tournament.
The Sepak Takraw League Champions Cup takes place in Johor, Malaysia from December 22 to 28 and features five top Malaysian teams – Perak Bison, ATM Guardians, Johor Tigris, Penang Black Panthers, Negeri Sembilan Antlers and Kelantan Warriors – plus invited overseas teams Singapore Lions, China Great Wall, Indonesia Garuda and Korea Haechi.
The inaugural Asia Challenge Cup, a competition organised by the Football Association of Selangor, a regional Malaysian association, takes place on January 18 and 19 at the Shah Alam Stadium in Shah Alam, Selangor. A team representing Selangor will contest it, along with Vietnamese V.League 1 champions Hanoi FC, Indonesian club Persib Bandung and Thai club True Bangkok United.
Reddentes Sports will distribute the rights to broadcasters in all markets outside Malaysia.
