RR Media launches sports media platform

Online video platform provider RR Media has launched a dedicated sports media service platform, solaRR Active.

The platform will offer services such as global hybrid distribution for rights-holders and multi-platform management and delivery of live and video-on-demand sports content.

RR Media has clients such as American football’s NFL, basketball’s NBA Premium TV, US broadcaster Fox Sports and the IMG and MP & Silva agencies.

Elad Manishviz, RR Media’s chief marketing officer, said: “By bridging the gap between traditional broadcast and new digital media technologies, we are able to offer a holistic sports offering in order to help our customers increase audience reach and further monetise their premium sports content.”
