Italian pay-television broadcaster Sky Italia has acquired rights for football’s Russian Premier League.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, but Sky said further details about the duration of the contract and the number of matches to be shown will be announced in the coming days.
Sky will begin broadcasting live coverage of games from this Saturday, November 21, with matches shown on Saturday and Sunday mornings in Italy.
Sky broadcast the top division of Russian football between 2008 and 2011 before dropping coverage of the league.
