The Saran Media agency has agreed a deal with the Turkish Volleyball League to acquire the exclusive global media rights to its top-tier men’s and women’s competitions.
The deal covers the three seasons from 2013-14 to 2015-16 and includes all television platforms, broadband and mobile devices.
The league has enhanced its international prominence in recent years and includes 12 teams in both its men’s and women’s leagues.
Istanbul club Vakifbank won both the International Volleyball Federation’s (FIVB) Club World Championship and the European Volleyball Confederation’s (CEV) Champions League during the 2012-13 season.
