Live coverage of rugby union’s Six Nations Championship is poised to return to Irish public-service broadcaster RTÉ following a deal struck with tournament organisers and incumbent rights-holder Virgin Media Television, the Irish commercial and pay-television broadcaster.
Under the tripartite agreement announced this morning, RTÉ and Virgin Media will share rights to the tournament from 2022 onwards.
