The Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF), the umbrella organisation for the summer Olympic federations, has amended its statutes to allow sports to receive a share of Olympic revenues if they feature in three consecutive summer Games.
The change in the statutes, which received the backing of 92 per cent of the ASOIF members at its general assembly today (Wednesday), means that the International Surfing Association (ISA), World Skate and the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) are in line for a tranche of International Olympic Committee revenues from Los Angeles 2028.
