German pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland is expanding its Sky Ticket OTT sports highlights offering to encompass a wider range of content to sit alongside the live coverage already on offer.
It will broadcast highlights clips for football, handball, motorsports as well as tennis and golf. It plans to expand its collection to over 1,000 videos during this season.
Sky Ticket will now also show exclusive documentaries on the platform. Viewers will also have access to clips and programmes from the Sky Sport News channel as well as press conferences, news programmes and fitness clips from ‘Sky Gym’.
Sky Deutschland launched Sky Ticket in 2016 as a rebrand of the Sky Online service. It provides access without a regular subscription to Sky’s sports, movies and general entertainment content.
The basic Sky Ticket sports offering is priced at €9.99 ($11.74) per month. A premium service, including coverage of individual Bundesliga and Uefa Champions League matches, plus streaming on two devices, costs €29.99 per month.
