Pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland has acquired rights in Germany and Austria for the Uefa Europa League European club football tournament.
The rights will run for three seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18, and will include live coverage of all matches across all platforms, including television, IPTV, online and mobile.
German sports broadcaster Sport1 has also secured rights for the tournament over the same three-year period, according to the Sport Bild magazine.
Sport1will show 17 games per season, the report said, although the deal will not be confirmed until early next year.
The Team Marketing agency brokers rights deals for the tournament on behalf of Uefa, football’s European governing body.
