Sky NZ seals 11th-hour IPL deal

Pay-television broadcaster Sky New Zealand has secured rights to the Indian Premier League after striking a late deal with media group DAZN.

Last June, Indian media group Viacom18 secured domestic digital rights to the IPL, along with rights in the UK, South Africa and Australia and New Zealand. Viacom18 subsequently sublicensed its rights in these territories to DAZN from 2023 to 2027, as exclusively reported by SportBusiness.
