UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has extended its rights deal with golf’s Ladies European Tour.
The deal will run for two years, until the end of 2019, and takes the partnership between Sky and the LET into its 20th year.
Sky Sports will continue to show live coverage of the LET’s five Major events, as well as the 2019 edition of the Solheim Cup.
The renewed deal will also cover all other LET events not previously shown by Sky.
The Ladies Scottish Open will be the first event broadcast on Sky under the new deal. The tournament takes place from July 26-29 at the Gullane Golf Club in East Lothian.
Jason Wessely, head of Sky Sports Golf, said: “Last year we saw a huge increase in viewing of women’s golf and Sky Sports Golf is committed to shining the spotlight on the women’s game.”
