UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has agreed a deal to show live coverage of rugby league’s upcoming World Club Challenge match.
The match pits English Super League club Leeds Rhinos against Australian NRL team Melbourne Storm.
The match will take place at Melbourne’s AAMI Park on February 16 and will be available live via the Sky Sports Main Event channel at 9am UK time.
Sky has also confirmed that it will broadcast the historic Super League match between Hull FC and Wigan Warriors on February 10. The two teams will face off at the WIN Stadium in Wollongong, Australia, in what will mark the first Super League fixture to be held outside of Europe.
On February 17, Hull will play the St George Illawarra Dragons and Wigan will face the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Sky will show both fixtures, which will take place at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, live on the Main Event channel.
