Digital free-to-air channel Sommet Sports will launch a channel on pay-television operator Sky New Zealand and digital-television service Freeview in April.
Sommet Sports, which has been strengthening its sports-rights portfolio over the past year, will assume channel 69 on Sky from April 14.
“With our extension into satellite, and with great support from the people at Sky, we will be able to deliver our channel free-to-air across all platforms where Kiwis like to watch their sport,” Sommet Sports director Andrew Reeves said.
