Sony signs another Lanka Premier League rights extension

Pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks has renewed its exclusive rights in the Indian subcontinent for the Lanka Premier League ahead of the third edition of tournament.

The rights cover India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, and the Maldives, along with digital rights in India and Sri Lanka. Sony Sports Ten 1 and Sony Sports Ten 5 channels will show coverage of more than 40 matches.
