Spanish mobile operators strike Euro 2012 deal

Spanish mobile phone operators Telefónica, Vodafone and Orange have reached deals with media company Mediaset Spain to show live Uefa Euro 2012 matches.

Under the deal, the mobile phone operators can show Euro 2012 coverage that is being broadcast via Mediaset Spain’s commercial channels, Cuatro and Telecinco.

Telefónica is offering Euro 2012 coverage via its Imagenio IPTV service, while Vodafone is providing the coverage through its Discover package and Orange is showing games through the Orange TV Player service.

Mediaset has the exclusive rights to Euro 2012 in Spain.
