Dylan Azzopardi, the businessman behind the defunct Australian sports streaming platform Sports Flick, has been arrested for alleged fraud in an attempt to secure rights to the Rugby League World Cup.
A statement from NSW Police today (Friday) confirmed that a 29-year-old man was arrested for allegedly defrauding a business of more than A$2m (€1.3m/$1.4m) over “filming rights for a sporting tournament”.
