Southeast Asian OTT service SportsFix has struck a rights deal with the Chinese Basketball Association.
SportsFix will show live coverage of games operated by the CBA, which organises the top division of basketball in China.
The coverage will be shown via SportsFix.tv.
SportsFix already has rights to the Philippine Basketball League, baseball’s K League Classic and football’s Chinese Super League, Thai Premier League, Liga 1 Indonesia and Italian Serie A.
SportsFix chief executive Carl Kirchhoff (pictured left, next to SportsFix executive chairman Marcus Luer), said that the company had targeted basketball as it is one of the most “widely played” sports across the Asean region.
