Online streaming website Spox.com, owned by digital sports media company Perform, will launch in Austria in partnership with the Styria Media Group on December 13.
The Sportnet.at website will be rebranded as Spox Austria, with the platform working closely with Perform’s OTT service DAZN, according to Die Presse, which owns the Styria Media Group.
Spox Austria will be supported by a dedicated editorial team based in the country, creating tailored content.
At the Spox.com/at platform, on-demand coverage of football’s English Premier League, US major league sports and tennis events, such as the Australian Open, will be available.
DAZN’s content includes the Italian Serie A and Spanish LaLiga top football divisions, as well as the NFL American football league, the NBA basketball league and the NHL ice hockey league.
