Pay-television sports broadcaster SuperSport has agreed a new three-year rights partnership with the Extreme Fighting Championship Africa mixed martial arts organisation.
The deal between the two parties will cover SuperSport customers throughout the Sub-Saharan region of Africa.
SuperSport has guaranteed a minimum of 10 live prime time broadcasts of EFC Africa events through each year of the deal.
Offered in high definition, live event broadcasting has been extended to include all five main card bouts and will be shown on SuperSport Blitz, the most widely carried SuperSport channel.
All live events will be carried on multiple platforms, including SuperSport-owned mobile devices, Walka and Drifta. Events will also be streamed live online on the SuperSport official website.
SuperSport will broadcast hours of daily dedicated EFC Africa coverage, which has been extended to include official weigh-ins, along with pre- and post-match briefings.
