Pay-television broadcaster SuperSport, which operates in sub-Saharan Africa, has acquired rights for qualifying matches ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations national football team tournament.
The deal covers 50 matches produced by the Sportfive agency, including all games featuring the South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola and Zambia national teams.
Most matches featuring Uganda, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho and Tanzania will also be broadcast.
SuperSport will show at least seven games per match weekend, with the schedule of qualifiers set to run across six weekends, from September to November. SuperSport will show the matches on the SS3, SS4, SS5 and SS7 channels. The rights cover all media platforms.
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco.
