Åsa Edlund Jönsson, head of sport at Swedish public broadcaster SVT, has resigned from her position to become general secretary of the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK).
The 49-year-old Jönsson will join the SOK in February, succeeding Gunilla Lindberg, the experienced Swedish sports official and International Olympic Committee member.
