Swiss pay-television broadcaster Teleclub has renewed rights deals for a host of European football leagues, including Italy’s Serie A and France’s Ligue 1, while it has become a new partner of the Dutch Eredivisie.
Teleclub has struck a three-season extension to its Ligue 1 deal, running from 2018-19 to 2020-21. The contract also includes the Coupe de la Ligue and will provide for a weekly match to be broadcast on free-to-air channel Teleclub Zoom on Sundays at 2.45pm.
The length of the new Serie A contract was not disclosed, but it will commence with the forthcoming 2018-19 season. Teleclub will show all matches featuring Juventus, following the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to the reigning champion. Teleclub Zoom will also offer a weekly match on Mondays at 8.25pm.
Teleclub will broadcast three Eredivisie matches per round from the 2018-19 season onwards, with selected games also broadcast on Teleclub Zoom on a regular basis.
Finally, Teleclub said it has also extended rights deals for Belgian Pro League and Scottish Premiership. Terms of these agreements were not disclosed.
