US Spanish-language broadcasters Telemundo and mun2, both of which are owned by media company NBCUniversal, have committed to showing 188 matches from events operated by football’s global governing body Fifa in 2015.
The broadcasters will show the men’s U20 World Cup, the women’s World Cup, the men’s Beach Soccer World Cup and the U17 World Cup next year.
NBCUniversal has Spanish-language rights for Fifa tournaments, including the World Cup, in a deal that will run until 2022.
