The new deal will also include rights to broadcast weekly ancillary content, including the NBA Magazine show.
The relationship between The Sports Channel and the NBA has grown ever-closer in recent years and the league’s Israeli website is incorporated within the broadcaster’s.
For the remainder of the current season, The Sports Channel will broadcast 54 games from the shortened NBA season which the rights-holder is dubbing “seeding games” for the playoffs.
The Covid-19 pandemic led to the suspension of the 2019-20 NBA season. It resumes today (July 30), with a total of 17 games tipping-off simultaneously at 19:30 local time.
