The Total Sports Asia agency has agreed a three-year deal to distribute the television rights for the TNA Impact Wrestling organisation across South East Asia, with the exception of the Thai market.
TSA has signed the deal with UK-based sports rights distribution agency RDA Television, which controls TNA’s global media distribution rights.
TSA will market the TNA brand and its programmes in South East Asia, and will look to increase TNA’s previous distribution and revenues throughout the region.
TNA produce more than 200 hours of original programming in high definition each year, including the flagship TNA Wrestling show, numerous pay-per-view events and a weekly magazine programme.
TSA’s chief content officer, Julian Jackson, said: “Having been very successful previously in selling pro wrestling, we know that it works in pretty much every country in the region.”
