English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement for Turner Sports-operated streaming service B/R Live to carry exclusive Spurs TV programming in the US.
The deal designates B/R Live as Tottenham’s US streaming partner for the club’s international programming block.
Under the agreement, the Spurs TV weekly highlights programme will be broadcast exclusively on the service during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. The show lasts around 160 minutes and will include a delayed broadcast of Tottenham’s most recent fixture, along with pre- and post-match analysis, manager and player interviews and behind-the-scenes features.
B/R Live already provides coverage of football’s Uefa Champions League and Europa League. The platform also streamed live coverage of Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the United States, which included matches against Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon.
B/R Live’s deal with Tottenham comes after fellow London-based Premier League club Chelsea last month signed an agreement with the Stockholm-based Spring Media agency. The deal provides Spring Media with exclusive distribution rights to Chelsea’s international programming block.
