Norwegian basic-tier and pay-television broadcaster TV2 has extended rights deals for the FA Cup, League Cup and second-tier Championship English club football competitions, according to the Kampanje news website.
The deals will run for the duration of the 2013-14 season with the option of extending the agreements.
TV2 agreed the deals with the Pitch International agency.
Pitch International has an agreement to sell rights worldwide for the Championship and League Cup, from 2012-13 to 2016-17, on behalf of the Football League, which governs the two competitions. The agency also distributes rights on a worldwide basis on behalf of the English Football Association, the operator of the FA Cup, from 2012-13 to 2017-18.
Last August, TV2 acquired rights for the three competitions as well as England national team matches and the pre-season Community Shield match – which are also operated by the FA – in a one-year deal, from 2012-13.
