The USA Track & Field (USATF) national governing body has acquired exclusive media rights to the Drake Relays event.
The three-year agreement runs from 2017 to 2019, with the rights to be exploited by the USATF.tv streaming service.
The deal has been agreed in cooperation with the NBC Sports Group division of US media company NBCUniversal, USATF’s broadcast partner.
USATF will also serve as the primary sponsor of the event.
USATF’s live coverage of this year’s Drake Relays will begin on April 27 and run through until April 29.
The event will feature two-time Olympic gold medalist triple jumper Christian Taylor (pictured), gold medalist long jumper Brittney Reese and bronze medalist 800m runner Clayton Murphy.
