Ustream offers online platform for IMG

Ustream has agreed a deal with IMG Media that will allow the streaming website to show live sports events produced and distributed by the agency.

Ustream will show the content on its website and partner websites.

The length of the deal was not disclosed, but the agreement started last month, Ustream said.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with IMG Media as part of Ustream’s overall strategy of expanding our programming to offer our viewers the best live online content in the world,” Ustream chief executive Brad Hunstable said.

“The combination of IMG Media’s global sports content and Ustream’s powerful social platform for online broadcast offers viewers unprecedented ways to engage with fellow fans and access live programming.”
