The launch of Viaplay in the Netherlands helped the streaming service add 778,000 new subscribers to its global total in the first quarter of this year.
Unveiling its Q1 figures this morning, the Nordic Entertainment (Nent) Group raised its year-end Nordic Viaplay subscriber target by 500,000 to 4.8 million and retained its 2.2 million target for the rest of the world.
