Viaplay details subscriber growth, cuts full-year guidance

Media group Viaplay has posted a 78-per-cent year-on-year increase in paying subscribers but recorded a SEK86m (€7.86m/$7.88m) loss for the third quarter of 2022.

The number of paying subscribers across its active territories now stands at 6.43 million, compared to 3.6 million this time last year. Stockholm-headquartered Viaplay said that 879,000 subscribers signed up during the most recent quarter.
