Chinese state-owned broadcaster CCTV5 has acquired live rights for the Wimbledon tennis championships.
The broadcaster struck the deal with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), which operates the tournament.
The agreement will run for three years, covering the 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions of the event.
The AELTC said that it also has media partnerships with regional sports channels and the Tencent online service in China.
The 2013 championships will run from June 24 to July 7.
