World Bodyboarding Tour secures global coverage

Australian live-streaming platform Epicentre.TV has agreed distribution deals in 22 countries around the world for the Association of Professional Bodyboarders’ (APB) 2017 World Bodyboarding Tour.

Epicentre.TV will stream live coverage of each event in the 2017 series, known to fans as the ‘Dream Tour’.

Coverage will be distributed in countries such as Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

In addition, Epicentre.TV will produce a series of eight 30-minute highlights shows for the Tour.

Luke Campbell, Epicentre.TV's chief operating officer, said: “These deals are just the beginning for the APB. We’re in discussions with a number of networks around the globe, with the aim to broadcast each event on the ‘Dream Tour’ live across these networks.”

In July last year, Epicentre.TV signed a five-year rights deal, from 2017 to 2021, for the men’s World Bodyboarding Tour.
