OSN has acquired the exclusive pay-television broadcast rights in the Middle East and North Africa region to events organised by the WWE wrestling organisation.
The deal runs through 2019 and includes the WWE’s flagship Monday Night Raw programme, along with SmackDown, NXT and Main Event, as well as pay-per-view events including WrestleMania and SummerSlam. The OSN Sports 2 HD channel will broadcast WWE programming.
OSN subscribers can also access live coverage via a smartphone, tablet or laptop through the broadcaster’s OSN Play online video platform. Coverage is also available via the broadcaster’s OSN on Demand video-on-demand service.
Andy Warkman, OSN’s vice-president of sport and production, said: “For the first time in the region, all core WWE programming will be available in one place, making OSN the home of WWE, reaching an audience across more than 20 countries.”
