The Slovak Sport portfolio of channels will be reduced today with the Slovak Sport.TV 3 channel ceasing transmission today (Thursday).

Media rights income for Euroleague basketball is likely to be about the same in the 2014-15 season as it was last season, partly due to difficulties in Russia, one of the sport’s key markets.

UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport, Czech Republic public-service broadcaster Czech TV and Slovakian pay-television broadcaster Slovak Sport have acquired rights for the Euroleague Basketball club competition.

The Pragosport agency is understood to have broken even on its deal for the Czech football league following two broadcast deals it agreed at the end of last month.
