Euroleague seals rights deals in UK, Czech Republic, Slovakia

UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport, Czech Republic public-service broadcaster Czech TV and Slovakian pay-television broadcaster Slovak Sport have acquired rights for the Euroleague Basketball club competition.

All of the agreements will run for the 2014-15 season.

BT Sport, which showed coverage of the 2013-14 Final Four season finale, will broadcast weekly magazine programme One Devotion as well as “the best” of the competition through the season, Euroleague said.

Czech TV will show a minimum of 60 games on the CT4 channel or via the channel’s website, as well as One Devotion. The broadcaster has also acquired rights to show the 2014-15 Final Four live or on a delayed basis.

Slovak Sport will broadcast the Euroleague ‘game of the week’ throughout the season.
