Football: UK pay-operator British Sky Broadcasting is set to acquire the rights to the English Football League’s Championship, lower divisions and the League Cup in a four-year deal worth at least £32 million (€47.3 million) a season. The deal extends BSkyB’s existing deal with the League for a further four years from 2006-07 to 2009-10 (page 1).
