TV RIGHTS CLIPS 1: Football: Champions League, Football League and more

Football: Uefa, European football’s governing body agreed deals in Germany and Austria for the Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup for the period 2012-13 to 2014-15. German public-service broadcaster ZDF acquired live and highlights rights for the Uefa Champions League and Super Cup. German pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland acquired pay-television rights for the Uefa Champions League and Europa League. Sky has exclusive live and delayed rights for all matches from both competitions, except for one match per week from each competition, which will also be shown on free-to-air television. Sky’s deal also includes highlights rights for Champions League matches on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and for all matches from the Europa League (page 3). Austrian commercial free-to-air broadcaster Puls4 acquired rights for the Champions League and Super Cup. The deal includes live rights for 18 matches per season across the two competitions, and a twice-weekly highlights show. All deals were negotiated on behalf of Uefa by the Team Marketing agency.
